Lesley Trites lives and writes in Montreal. She grew up in Fredericton, New Brunswick, and has also lived in Toronto, Victoria, and briefly in Germany. Her work has appeared in publications such as Matrix, filling Station, and Queen Street Quarterly, and was recently shortlisted for the 2011 Quebec Writing Competition. Her first book of poetry, Echoic Mimic, will be released in October 2011 by Snare Books. A traveller and a foodie, she also studies and writes about wine.
